    1. Hi Berni,

Thanks for the concern, have been stuck down a youtube rabbit hole, but all is well as I've managed to now crawl out of it.

  5. Thanks! (Dumb as I am, it took me quite a while
to realize that the "Twangsville Revisited"
    series is still going strong.)

  6. Wonderful and sorely needed site. Never enough alt-country. I spent the last week downloading your entire Twangsville archive into a special playlist. This is real music, real instruments, guitar solos and lyrics that say shit, a lot of dark bluesy shit, but it beats the vapid crap so much rock music has. It surely is the best passel of great tunes by artists I never heard of. Never realized how many bands have "whiskey" in their names. Thanks. When is the next Twangsville? Can't wait.

    1. Thanks for the kind words Jimbo, appreciate the fact you like them enough to make a special playlist. Didn't realize myself that so many bands have 'whiskey' in their names until I started to do these comps.

The new Twangsville comp is ready to go once I've done a few posts about my youtube rabbit hole adventures, which thankfully I've managed to crawl out of, and hopefully explain the nature of the comp.

    2. I agree with you,Jimbo. I've discovered lots of good stuff through the blogs Nine Bullets (RIP) and Saving Country Mucic. Barking Dog's Twangsville mixes are the bomb though.
