  1. Holy cow... I was just thinking that an Aussie Mix would be cool because I don't know much about that music scene - and 10 minutes later I came to the site and here it is. Eerie, ha ha, but thank you. Is Canada next?

    1. Lol Berni, you must have had a premonition, and I would be interested in knowing what you think of the comp.

I'll make the next comp a Canadian one, and, as to when it will be posted, your guess is as good as mine. :)

    2. Yup, good stuff. Much more interesting than Keith Urban. I recognized some bands - such as the Graveyard Trains and the Kill Devil Hills - from Gothic Country playlists but hadn't checked them out enough to realize that they're Aussies. Are there particular cities/areas associated with distinctive styles? Sixteen Horsepower, Slim Cessna, and the like hailed from the Denver area, for instance.

    5. Interesting. Looks like Melborne's the place to go hear music. I was curious because about 5 years ago my son lived in Geelong, I think it was, for 4 months. He was drumming in a band and they were doing a 3 week tour down there. The round trip ticket cost the same whether he stayed 3 weeks or 3 months so he stayed with a friend for what was winter here. My recollection is that he did a fair amount of drinking lol.

    1. Pleased that you like the comps, as to Roger, have no idea where he is, but, if he's not on walkabout, I can guarantee that you most definitely won't find him here.
