SOUTHERN CULTURE ON THE SKIDS RE-POST WITH EXTRAS

Southern Culture On The Skids, also sometimes known as SCOTS, is an American rock band that was formed in 1983 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The band (Rick Miller: Guitar & Vocals, Mary Huff: Bass & Vocals, Dave Hartman: Drums) has been playing together for 30+ years. Their live shows are a testament to the therapeutic powers of foot-stomping, butt-shaking rock-n-roll & what Rolling Stone dubbed “a hell raising rock and roll party.”

Stylistically, SCOTS gravitate towards the rockabilly, surf rock, country and R&B genres, with a punk edge and outrageous humour thrown in.
