For those such as myself and a number of others, who use Firefox to download from WeTransfer and are experiencing dramas, I've been reliably informed by Berni that if you open the link in a private window, the file will download as it should. Any feedback regarding this issue would be greatly appreciated.
It seems to be a problem with WeTransfer. I tried another download from WeTransfer an it failed. I took your advice and used Private Mode, but it didn't work. So I did a restart of my computer and worked for all my downloads. Thanks for the tip & hope my experiences help others.

At first thought it was my PC acting up. I restarted my computer (several times). It isn't the downloading - it's the unzipping that's blocked: "This archive is corrupt". If I then open a private window and try again to unzip the file that just failed, I get "No files found". If I download from a private window first however, there's no problem. Huh...
ReplyDeleteIt appears that people have different issues, I was getting "unexpected end of archive" messages whilst unzipping the files.
