Jack Cade puts his musical leanings down to a mixture of watching Sergio Leone westerns far too many times and his early years spent sitting in his grandparents kitchen on a Sunday afternoon, whilst the roast dinner was in full swing, with the radio spewing out any number of country tunes.
Jack Cade plays a mix of Americana and Alt-Country usually as a solo performer but at times with The Everyday Sinners. His vocals are a rough and ready deep growl, delivered with simply crafted songs about love, loss and the bits in between.
The full band is now called The Everyday Sinners, on the initial releases they went out as Jack Cade And The Everyday Sinners.
The Everyday Sinners has been a slow evolution over the last 7 years, having recorded a debut album 'This Fiery Road' with friends and session musicians, a live band was initially put together with Adam Perry a drummer who brings both subtlety and power, Mike Muggeridge the driving heartbeat of the band on bass, Jack Cade on Guitar and vocals and various part time members who dropped in and out over the first few years. In 2012 the band enlisted the vivid vocal talents of Helen Muggeridge and during 2017 the exceptionally versatile Ben Cox-Smith on Dobro and guitar has become a more permanent fixture having featured on all the album recordings. Finally the line-up has been completed with the arrival of Chris Davies on Piano and Hammond, giving the band the all round sound live that they get with their recorded work.
